This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a passionate Science specialist ready to take the next step in their career and make a real impact on teaching, learning, and curriculum development.


About the role:
*Lead and manage the Science department across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
*Drive high standards of teaching and learning across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
*Develop and implement an engaging and effective Science curriculum
*Support and mentor teaching staff within the department
*Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment


? Who we’re looking for:
*An experienced Science Teacher with leadership or middle leadership experience
*Confident teaching across Science disciplines
*Strong understanding of curriculum planning and assessment
*A proactive and inspirational leader with excellent communication skills
Essential requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Proven track record of strong classroom practice
*Experience supporting or leading within a department (e.g. Head of Department, KS Coordinator)
