Finance Manager
Plymouth, Devon (Office-Based)
Part-time (30 hours per week)
£35,217 pro rata (£28,173.60 actual)
Our client, a respected and values-led organisation within the charitable sector, is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager on a part-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation in a key role supporting both operational finance and strategic decision-making.
As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the organisation’s day-to-day financial management, working closely with senior leadership to ensure robust financial planning, accurate reporting, and effective control of resources.
Key responsibilities:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
*Monitoring performance against budgets and overseeing cashflow
*Management of payroll, ensuring full statutory compliance
*Oversight, maintenance, and optimisation of finance systems
*Continuous review and improvement of financial processes
*Supporting financial reporting at senior management level
*Delivering clear financial insight while ensuring regulatory compliance
About you:
*Proven experience in a similar, hands-on finance role
*Strong capability in producing management accounts and interpreting financial data
*Ability to present financial information in a clear and practical manner
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Experience using accounting and payroll systems
*Previous experience within a charity or not-for-profit environment is advantageous, but not essential
