Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a growing and fast paced business based in Thirsk. This is a varied Purchasing Administrator role where you will play a key part in supporting the smooth running of day to day operations. You will be joining a supportive team within a company that continues to expand and invest in its people.
This role would suit someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Key responsibilities
*Raising purchase orders and sending them to suppliers
*Ordering tools and materials to meet operational requirements
*Communicating with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, and delivery updates
*Tracking orders and chasing any delayed or outstanding deliveries
*Updating and maintaining accurate supplier information
*Supporting stock control and inventory processes
*Receiving deliveries and logging goods on arrival
*Handling incoming calls and responding to emails
*General administrative support to ensure smooth day to day operations
*Assisting with basic purchase order and delivery checks when required
About you
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Confident communicator, both written and verbal
*Comfortable using systems, databases, and Microsoft Excel
*Able to manage workload effectively and work to deadlines
*Proactive, flexible, and keen to support a growing team

Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
