Purchase Ledger Clerk
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Fort Dunlop (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days from home)
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client’s finance team. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative business offering hybrid working. The successful candidate will play a key role in processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
*Accurately process purchase invoices and complete three-way matching
*Investigate and resolve invoice and supplier queries efficiently
*Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
*Maintain and update the purchase ledger
*Assist with month-end processes and reporting deadlines
Skills & Experience Required:
*Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role
*AAT Level 2 qualification
*Experience using SAGE
*Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
*Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
