CAD Draughtsman

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Mechanical CAD Draughtsperson to join a growing manufacturing company based in Alton. The successful candidate will be responsible for remodelling and redrawing existing product range into a new CAD system.

Responsibilities as a CAD Draughtsperson:*Remodel existing mechanical components in Autodesk Inventor using parametric modelling techniques
*Interpret and convert existing design data from both Solid Works part files or drawings and Legacy paper drawings
*Produce detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with company standards
*Create accurate sub-assemblies and top-level assemblies from remodelled components
*Produce top-level drawings for customer documentation and workshop use
*Carry out design verification checks to ensure accuracy, fit, and function of modelled components

Requirements:
*Proficient in 3D CAD modelling using Autodesk Inventor
*Proficient in Solid Works
*High level of proficiency in technical drawings
*Solid understanding of mechanical components and assemblies
*Strong attention to detail

The CAD Draughtsperson role:
*6 - 9 month contract
*Monday – Friday, office based in Alton
*£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
