SEND Teaching Assistant - RetfordAre you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Academics Ltd is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in mainstream primary schools across Retford, Nottinghamshire.
This is a temporary, part-time, term-time only role with an immediate start.
Key responsibilities:*Support teachers in delivering Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
*Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
*Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
*Support students’ social and emotional development
*Monitor and record student progress
What we’re looking for:*Experience working with SEND pupils
*Relevant NVQ or Cache Level 2 or 3 TA/SEND qualification (preferred)
*A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to commute across Retford
*Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate
