Key Responsibilities
*Lead and supervise a small team of engineers, providing daily direction and support
*Manage and carry out commercial electrical installations
*Oversee projects from initial design to final completion
*Ensure compliance with all safety standards and quality requirements
*Conduct regular safety and quality audits
*Report weekly to the Head of Department on project progress, team performance, and any issues
*Support the Electrical Manager with planning, organising, and operational activities
*Assist with procurement of materials and coordination of subcontractors
*Carry out inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry regulations
*Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise
*Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
*Proven experience in commercial electrical installations
*Strong knowledge of electrical systems and current regulations
*Understanding of security systems (e.g. door access, CCTV, intruder alarms) is desirable
*2391-52 Testing and Inspection qualification preferred
*Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team
*Strong project management skills with a focus on safety and quality
*Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
*Full clean UK Driving licence
*Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
