Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Lewisham.
This is a full-time role starting in May, working 5 days per week until the end of the academic year in July. There is a strong possibility for the successful candidate to continue into the new academic year from September 2026.
About the Role:
*Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
*Working with pupils across KS1 or KS2, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis
*Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
*Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
*A proactive and adaptable approach
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
