Our client, a commodity trading firm, is looking to hire a Confirmations Analyst to join their team in London.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Reconcile broker recaps and investigate any discrepancies.
*Prepare and ensure timely issuance of all counterparty confirmations.
*Receive and reconcile counterparty confirmations, investigating and resolving any inconsistencies, and escalating issues to management where necessary.
*Monitor electronic confirmations, resolve any failures, and ensure successful matching.
You will need to have the following experience:
*Previous experience in a Confirmations role (ideally within Gas, Power, or Emissions markets), and/or within a Middle or Back Office operations environment in these markets.
*Solid understanding of Operations within Energy Markets.
*Knowledge of trade lifecycle processes, including booking, amendments, contracts, and settlements.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
