Role summary:
Management of fleet & driver compliance across the Northwest & Scotland. Responsible for the management of Transport Managers.
Key responsibilities
*To manage and support Transport Managers with their duties.
*Ensure fleet, including MHE are maintained to legal requirements and operated cost effectively company wide
*Maintains regular on-site compliance reviews/assessments across the network
*Assist, when necessary, in compliance Audits (internal / external)
*To ensure all relevant operational procedures are implemented and sustained in order to maintain company standards and competitiveness
*Monitor the company’s ability to gain assurance across all compliance / operational activities in adherence to current Fleet Management Policy & Procedures
*Attend / chair where necessary both internal and external meetings according to operational and compliance priorities with DX Service Centre management / Service Partners and Service Providers.
Essential criteria for this role
*Must be CPC National qualified. Excellent manager with substantial understanding of fleet and driver legislation. Good communicator and computer literate.
