Job Description:
Zero2Five is recruiting for an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a high-quality small private day nursery setting in Earlsfield, London. The Role
You will work closely with the Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding. You will lead by example, support staff development, and help create a positive, nurturing environment for children and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
*Support the daily operations of the nursery
*Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team
*Ensure full compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements
*Build strong relationships with parents and carers
*Oversee planning, observations, and children’s development
*Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment
*Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager’s absence
Requirements
*Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding
*Previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursery role
*Leadership skills with the ability to support and delegate effectively
*A positive, professional, and proactive approach
*A genuine passion for early years education and childcare
