Job Description:
Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for Maintenance Engineer for medical device manufacturer based in Swindon. This is a permanent position.
Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 with 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Salary £45000-£50000 DOE
Main duties:
*Providing Electrical/Mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing & their processes while always adhering to GMP standards.
*Support to achieve production output standards
*Maintain Production Machinery and spare parts
*Plan Preventative Maintenance(PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs
*Respond quickly to machine breakdowns
*Monitor machine performance
*Analyse & monitor breakdown frequencies
*Maintain accurate documentation, records, and performance data
*Ensure safe systems of work are in place and adhered to
Requirements:
*Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing environment (preferably pharmaceutical)
*Proven experience in electrical and mechanical systems, including fault finding and machinery repair.
*Willingness to learn new skills
*Self-motivated, proactive
*Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
*City & Guilds, NVQ, or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance or Installation preferred but not essential.
Desirable:
*18th Edition
*H&S Qualifications
*Experience in pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment
