Conveyancing Assistant – High-Volume, Supportive Team Environment

I’m working with a well-established and highly regarded organisation within the property sector, offering an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy and collaborative team.

This is a great role for someone with at least 12 months’ experience in residential conveyancing or remortgage work, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high level of client service.

You’ll be supporting experienced conveyancers with a varied caseload, playing a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

*Providing a high standard of customer service to clients and corporate referrers
*Supporting a conveyancer to meet conversion and service targets
*Managing files (both electronic and paper) efficiently
*Chasing key parties including clients, solicitors, lenders and third parties for updates and documentation
*Handling enquiries on sale and purchase transactions
*Assisting with exchanges and completions
*Requesting and chasing funds from lenders, clients and other solicitors
*Preparing, issuing and checking legal documents
*Inputting and interpreting key data such as mortgage offers and redemption figures
What I’m looking for:

*Around 12 months’ experience within residential conveyancing or remortgage work
*Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
*Ability to work to deadlines and manage a high-volume workload
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident working both independently and as part of a team
*Previous administrative or customer service experience within a legal or property setting
