Primary School Teacher (QTS Required)Location: Bristol (South)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Pay: £130 - £180 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Temporary with potential for long-term opportunities
Hours: Full-time school hours (part-time and ad hoc opportunities may be available)
About the RoleProspero Teaching are currently recruiting a qualified Primary School Teacher to work within a supportive and welcoming primary school in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating an engaging learning environment for pupils.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum, supporting pupil progress, and promoting positive behaviour and inclusion across the classroom.
Responsibilities*Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum
*Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
*Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
*Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
*Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
*Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
*Maintaining accurate records and contributing to assessments where required
*Communicating effectively with staff, pupils, and parents
*Ensuring safeguarding and child protection responsibilities are adhered to at all times
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
*Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
*Strong classroom management skills
*A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to teaching
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*An enhanced DBS on the update service (child workforce), or willingness to apply
*Right to work in the UK
