This Client Service Director role isn’t about maintaining a portfolio. It’s about owning relationships at the top end of the UK insurance market, shaping regional strategy, and building a team around you to deliver properly.
This is a confidential appointment with a well-established insurance business in the North West. They already deal with some of the largest and most complex clients in the UK insurance space. What they need now is a Client Service Director who can elevate that further.
You’ll take responsibility for key strategic accounts while building and leading a team of Account Directors. The expectation is clear. Retain and grow major clients, bring in new business, and create a structure that supports long-term, high-value relationships.
This is a senior role in the North West insurance market with genuine scope. You’ll have visibility, backing, and the autonomy to shape how client service is delivered.
Key responsibilities:
*Manage and develop relationships with some of the largest insurance clients in the UK
*Lead, hire and develop a team of Account Directors in the North West
*Set and deliver the regional client strategy across the insurance portfolio
*Drive new business activity alongside retention and growth of existing accounts
*Oversee complex and high-value insurance programmes
*Work closely with senior leadership to influence wider business direction

*Proven experience in a senior client-facing role within insurance
*Track record of managing large, complex insurance clients
*Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
