Accounts Administrator – PermanentLocation: Kettering
Salary: Up to £28,000
NRG are partnering with a reputable and well-established business based in Kettering to recruit a proactive and detail-driven Accounts Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to broaden their experience within a collaborative and supportive finance team.
The RoleYou will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely processing. Key responsibilities include:
*Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and ensuring appropriate authorisation is obtained
*Coding non-purchase order invoices
*Processing payment runs, including BACS, cheque and wire transfers
*Filing invoices using the Docuware electronic filing system
*Handling internal and external enquiries and ensuring timely resolution
*Reconciling supplier statements
*Completing month-end reporting tasks in line with set deadlines
*Reconciling balance sheet accounts
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
About YouYou will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with 1–2 years’ experience in a broad finance or accounts role. You will ideally:
*Be studying towards, or keen to begin, a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. AAT)
*Be confident working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
*Be a proactive team player with a positive and supportive approach
*Have experience of core accounting processes, reconciliations and financial administration
