We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a non-verbal Year 2 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Position DetailsRole: 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Non-Verbal ASD Support
Start Date:September 2026
Hours:8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Status:Full-Time
Duration:Full academic year (Sept 2026 - July 2027)
Pay:£90 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities*Provide 1:1 support to a non-verbal Year 2 pupil with ASD
*Implement communication strategies to support engagement and learning
*Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher
*Foster positive relationships with the pupil, parents, and staff
Requirements*Proactive and compassionate approach to supporting SEN pupils
*Strong communication skills and ability to adapt learning strategies
*Commitment to a full-time, long-term role (Mon-Fri)
