Job Title: Picker / Packer
Location: Elmswell, Bury St Edmunds (please note: this site is not accessible via public transport)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 19:00 - 03:30 & Friday 16:00 - 00:30
Pay: £13.50 per hour
About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Picker / Packer to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
This role is based within a factory setting. Some areas, including cold storage, may operate at low temperatures, and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
Key Responsibilities*Accurately pick and pack orders to meet production and dispatch deadlines
*Use scanning systems to track, record, and organise stock
*Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and high standards are maintained
*Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
*Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily targets
*Follow all site procedures, including health & safety and hygiene standards
*Operate within cold store areas as required
Requirements*Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good organisational and time management skills
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*Comfortable working in a factory environment, including cold conditions
*Willingness to wear required PPE at all times
*Reliable with a strong work ethic
*Heavy lifting up to 25kg
