About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of an established adult training centre for a skilled and motivated Plumbing Lecturer. This role focuses on delivering high-quality training to adult learners, supporting them in gaining practical skills and recognised qualifications to progress within the plumbing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging, hands-on plumbing training to adult learners
*Plan and prepare lessons in line with awarding body standards
*Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback
*Support learners with varying levels of experience and backgrounds
*Monitor progress and maintain accurate learner records
*Promote a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment
Essential Requirements:
*Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
*ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications
*Proven industry experience as a plumber
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to engage and motivate adult learners
*Commitment to safeguarding and learner success
Desirable:
*Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to work towards one
*Assessing qualification (e.g., A1/CAVA)
