Job Description:
Baltic Recruitment are seeking a number of dedicated and detail-oriented Process Operators to join our client based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the operation and monitoring of production processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality output.
Responsibilities
*Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
*Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any issues or maintenance needs.
*Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any anomalies encountered.
*Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions swiftly.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the production process.
*Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
*Operate the counterbalance FLT as and when required.
Experience
*Previous experience as a Process Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
*Familiarity with production processes and machinery operation is advantageous.
*Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Pay rate
£12.93 - £15.17 per hour
Shifts
7am-3pm Monday to Friday (whilst being trained)
After Training, 5:30am-5:30pm / 5:30pm-5:30am, 4 on 6 off (Continentals)
