Veritas Education is currently working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Kirklees to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for immediate and upcoming roles. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real impact on pupils’ progress and attainment in Mathematics.
The RoleAs a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for:
*Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
*Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress
*Managing classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
*Contributing to the wider school community where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will Have*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*Experience teaching Maths within UK secondary schools
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education
*Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
*A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
*An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
