Lending Services Officer (Entry-Level) – Tonbridge | £28,000 - £30,000 | 4-Day Working Week
Looking to kick-start a career in financial services sector? Want to join a purpose-driven organisation where your work makes a real difference to communities across the UK? This entry-level opportunity could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.
About the role
This is an ideal first step into lending, banking, or impact investment. The Lending Services Officer plays a vital role in supporting the end-to-end lending process — from the moment a loan is approved right through to completion, drawdown and beyond.
The role is office-based in Tonbridge (minimum 2 days per week), with hybrid and flexible working options. You’ll work closely with borrowers, solicitors, and professional advisors while supporting key internal teams such as Credit, Impact Lending, and Portfolio Management.
No two days are the same: you’ll handle legal and financial administration, maintain accurate records, coordinate repayments, and ensure the highest standards in customer care.
What we are looking for
*A school leaver or recent graduate with ambition and a great attitude
*Some admin or customer service experience in an office environment
*Great organisational and communication skills
*A natural team player with an eye for detail and a proactive approach
*Computer-literate, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
*An interest in banking, finance, or the charity sector would be a bonus — but not essential
What’s in it for you
*Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
*4-day working week (Mon or Fri off) – genuine work/life balance
*25 days holiday (pro rata) + bank holidays
*Private healthcare, pension scheme, life insurance, and employee assistance programme
*Free parking and a smart-casual dress code
*Quarterly social events and a friendly, collaborative team
*Clear and supported career progression opportunities
About the company
This unique, mission-led bank is dedicated to supporting social change. With a team of around 70, they combine financial expertise with ethical values, funding projects that make a real impact in local communities. It’s an exciting time to join, with team growth planned and supportive training provided from day one.
In application for this role, you are consenting to TN Recruits Ltd retaining your details to secure you work. All information provided will be held securely for up to 3 years unless we are contacted and instructed otherwise.
