We are recruiting a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client’s reputable family-run dealership in Brentwood, Essex.

This Vehicle Technician position requires an individual with a broad skill set, capable of handling everything from routine servicing to complex diagnostics, working independently to ensure high-quality standards.

Benefits:
*Competitive basic salary up to £42,000 per annum, with an achievable OTE of approximately £48,000
*No weekend work, Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 6:00pm
*Ongoing specialist training towards Master Technician status, including Bosch programmes

Duties:
*Accurately perform repairs and routine servicing on a variety of motor vehicles
*Diagnose faults effectively, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
*Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs delegated by the workshop
*Maintain detailed records of materials used and time spent on each task
*Road test vehicles as part of the Vehicle Technician position to verify repair quality
*Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
*NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent qualification
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, particularly as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, post-apprenticeship
*Full UK driving licence and own set of tools
*The Vehicle Technician should demonstrate expertise across all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including servicing, cambelts, timing chains, diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs
*High skill level and attention to detail
*Right to work in the UK
