We’re looking for someone with proven experience in children’s residential care, strong leadership skills, and the passion to create a safe, nurturing, high-performing environment.
About the Role
As Registered/ Deputy Manager, you will take full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day running of a residential home supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead, motivate, and develop a residential care team to deliver exceptional, child-centred care
*Oversee and implement tailored care plans that support each child’s individual needs
*Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and Children’s Homes Regulations (2015)
*Manage safeguarding, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
*Manage staffing, rotas, and budgets effectively
*Build relationships with families, social workers, and external agencies
*Drive the home from ’Good’ to ’Outstanding’
About You
Essential Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager within an EBD residential children’s home
*Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
*Proven leadership and team management experience
*Ability to manage operations including staffing and budgets
Qualifications:
*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or working towards it
