Job Description:
Are you an experienced motor trade professional seeking a rewarding opportunity as a Bodyshop Workshop Controller?
Our client, a reputable and established Bodyshop Group in Berkshire, is currently recruiting for a Bodyshop Workshop Controller to join their growing team. This Bodyshop Workshop Controller position offers an excellent salary package, a supportive work environment, and clear opportunities for career progression.
Benefits:
*Up to £45,000 basic salary with an OTE of £55,000
*Monday to Friday working hours (7:30am – 5:00pm) with occasional Saturday shifts
*Established and reputable Bodyshop environment
*Opportunity for career progression from a technician or supervisor position
*Supportive management and a structured team environment
*Ongoing training and development opportunities
Duties of the Bodyshop Workshop Controller:
*Independently manage the Bodyshop workshop, including allocating work to technicians
*Maximise productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
*Monitor workshop performance and meet KPIs set by the management team
*Oversee and develop a motivated team of technicians as a Bodyshop Workshop Controller
*Manage customer requests and communication effectively
*Maintain workshop safety and compliance standards
*Support the Bodyshop Manager in achieving operational targets and enhancing customer satisfaction
Requirements:
*Previous experience within a bodyshop environment, ideally in a supervisory or management capacity
*Proven ability to independently run a busy workshop
*Strong organisational and multitasking skills
*Excellent communication and leadership abilities
*Close attention to detail and quality standards
*Automotive qualification or relevant experience in the motor trade is essential
