Key Responsibilities*Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons
*Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning
*Assist pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN where required
*Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
*Prepare classroom resources and maintain a tidy, safe learning environment
*Supervise pupils during break times, lunchtimes, and school activities
*Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and development
*Support safeguarding and promote the wellbeing of all pupils


Person SpecificationEssential:
*Experience working with children or young people
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work as part of a team
*Patient, caring, and supportive approach
*Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Desirable:
*Relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant)
*Experience working in a school setting
*Knowledge of additional learning needs (ALN/SEN)
