We are working alongside a Brighton based law firm and they are seeking a legal cashier on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing office and client accounts whilst ensuring compliance with SRA rules. This is a fill time, office-based role with the potential for hybrid working after successful completion of probation.
Daily duties will include office transfers for Land Registry & InfoTrack and court fees, processing card payments, commission postings on client ledgers as well as direct debits and standing orders posting. Further duties will include dealing with referral fees and penalty fees as well as Companies House invoices.
Applicants will have gained previous cashiering experience, preferable within a law firm. Current knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules is essential. A professional and confident approach to work is paramount coupled with strong attention to detail.
