Legal Secretary – Private Client
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
Type: Full-time | Permanent
The Role
An established and friendly law firm in Wymondham is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support its Private Client department. This role is ideal for a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and experience in private client matters, including wills, probate, and estate administration.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Private Client fee earners
*Audio and copy typing of legal documents, correspondence, wills, and legal forms
*Managing client files from opening to closure, ensuring accuracy and compliance
*Handling client enquiries professionally, both in person and via telephone/email
*Liaising with clients, HMRC, financial institutions, and third parties
*Diary management, arranging appointments, and managing key deadlines
*Preparing probate and estate administration documentation
*General office administration, including billing support and file archiving
Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Private Client
*Strong typing and document production skills
*Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Confident communication skills with a professional and empathetic manner
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal case management systems desirable
