Job Description:
Production Manager | Wigan | Permanent | Up to £50,000 DOE
Hours: 55 hours per week, between Monday and Sunday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
KPI Recruiting are proud to be working with our long standing client who are currently looking to recruit for a Production Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for:
*Overseeing manufacturing and production processes.
*Creating and executing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production schedules.
*Procuring factory production equipment and managing its maintenance.
*Striving to reduce costs and increase productivity across all product lines.
*Maintaining hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory.
*Implementing all company procedures and policies.
*Reporting any problems or obstacles to senior management.
*Monitoring productivity rates, standards, and quality control.
*Training and coaching Factory Operators and Sorters.
*Ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements.
The successful candidate will have:
*Strong communication skills.
*Proven experience in a managerial role.
*A background in food production.
*Availability to work flexible shifts.
*A solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
*Demonstrable leadership experience.
