Job Description:
Country Registration Manager (UK, IE, NL & BE) REMOTE – Crop & Related Products (EMEA)
Reporting to: Senior Commercial and Regional Regulatory Leadership
Location:Home-based (UK or Europe) with regular travel within Europe
Role Overview
This role is responsible for securing and maintaining compliant regulatory authorisations for plant protection products and related products (including bio stimulants, fertilisers and biocides) across multiple European territories. The position works closely with commercial, technical and regulatory stakeholders to ensure timely approvals and ongoing portfolio compliance.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as primary liaison with regulatory authorities across assigned territories.
*Contribute to and implement regional product registration strategies.
*Manage and coordinate regulatory dossier submissions with internal teams and external consultants.
*Ensure ongoing compliance of authorised product portfolios, including labelling and documentation.
*Maintain accurate regulatory, budget and product data and contribute to regular regional reporting.
*Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, technical and regulatory colleagues.
Requirements
Technical & Professional Skills
*Strong knowledge of plant protection products and/or bio stimulants, fertilisers or biocides.
*Proven ability to deliver results in complex, changing regulatory environments.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management capabilities.
*Confident use of IT systems and databases.
*Fluent English (professional level); additional European language advantageous.
Education & Experience
*MSc (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. toxicology, ecotoxicology, residues, environmental fate, chemistry, biology, agronomy).
*Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in regulatory affairs for plant protection products at UK and European level.
*Experience managing regulatory dossiers with national authorities is advantageous.
*Risk assessment experience is desirable.
