Job Description:
Technical Business Analyst - AXIOM
Inside IR35 - Hybrid 3 days per week onsite
Our client, a global bank have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join on an initial contract until the end of 2026 with a view to extending. In this role you will:
*Work in the International Controllers change management team on a specific timebound project, assisting with the development of key APAC regulatory reporting requirements primarily. Focus will be on the deliveries required for a Reporting Project as well as other internal APAC initiatives as well as the build out of the strategic Axiom infrastructure that feeds these requirements.
*Assist in writing user stories to reflect the business requirements of various regulatory reporting modules and liaise with technology team members through Agile scrum methodology to ensure requirements are understood.
*Ensure, where possible, that operational risk through manual processes is minimised, leverage digital tools (Alteryx, Power BI etc) to develop automated solutions where technology solutions are unavailable.
*Analyse regulatory guidance and provide SME insights when forming requirements for reporting modules, challenging existing approaches in a thoughtful manner where appropriate to ensure full regulatory compliance.
*Assist in documenting processes and decisions as part of project delivery to reporting teams.
Must-Have skills/experience:
*AxiomSL Business Analyst or Developer experience
*Regulatory reporting experience; Data strategy, Financial, Capital and/or Liquidity reporting
*Good problem-solving skills, independent thinker and strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable skills/experience:
*Process optimization, transformation and change management experience
*Digitalisation, AI Adoption experience
*Project management, time management, and organisational skills
*How many years of experience are you looking for?
*Minimally 5-10 years of relevant experience (Axiom, reg reporting, system implementation)
*Education/Certification: Certified Accountant preferred
