Description
*Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies within the public sector.
*Provide accurate and timely financial reports to support decision-making.
*Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with auditors.
*Develop and implement financial strategies for long-term sustainability.
*Manage the finance team, providing guidance and support as needed.

Profile
A successful Head of Finance should have:
*A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
*Proven expertise in managing financial operations within a Local Authority housing function.
*Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements (HRA).
*Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
*Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
*Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.


Job Offer
*Competitive daily rate between £700 and £750.
