Aeronautical Engineering Lecturer (Full Time, Permanent)
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
We’re looking for an experienced Aeronautical or Avionics Engineering professional to join our college in Newcastle as a full-time Aeronautical Engineering Lecturer. This is an excellent opportunity to move from industry into education and inspire the next generation of engineers.
No teaching qualification? No problem - we’ll fully fund it for you.
About the RoleYou’ll deliver engaging teaching to learners studying Levels 1-3 in Aeronautical Engineering, combining classroom-based theory with practical workshop sessions.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver high-quality teaching across Level 1-3 Aeronautical Engineering programmes
*Plan and deliver lessons that meet a range of learning needs
*Support and guide students to achieve their qualifications and career goals
*Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
*Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For*NVQ Level 3 in Aeronautical or Avionics Engineering (minimum)
*Relevant industry experience
*A passion for sharing knowledge and developing others
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Teaching qualification (desirable, but not essential - fully funded)
What We Offer*£30,000 - £40,000 salary
*40-50 days annual leave
*Teachers’ Pension Scheme (23.68% employer contribution)
*Fully funded teaching qualification
