Interim Technical Manager (Project-Focused)
Location: Cambridgeshire
Contract: 3 Months (Immediate Start)

We’re partnering with one of the most exciting, fast-growing FMCG brands in the UK right now.
This is a business that’s genuinely redefining the category, combining innovative product development with a standout brand and serious growth momentum. With major investment into site and capability, they are now entering a pivotal phase of scale.
The Role
You’ll be coming in to lead and support a number of key technical projects on-site, working closely with the Head of Technical to ensure everything is implemented to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your ability to manage technical elements of large-scale projects will be key.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the technical input across multiple on-site projects
*Support the commissioning of new machinery (HPP, belt press, new cappers)
*Agree and implement factory technical controls in line with business and retailer standards
*Scope, build, and complete key compliance documentation, including:
*HACCP
*Factory QA processes
*Hygiene procedures and validation
*Site documentation and controls
*Support the introduction of new processes and systems (including VIP) into the factory
*Ensure full alignment with retailer expectations and audit readiness
*Work closely with operations and engineering to embed standards effectively
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience in a Technical leadership role within FMCG manufacturing
*Strong track record of delivering project-based technical work (essential)
*Experience with machinery commissioning and site upgrades
*Deep understanding of HACCP, QA, and hygiene standards
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
*Experience supplying into major retailers
