Senior Leasehold & Homeownership Officer - Social Housing


Role
As a Senior Leasehold and Homeownership Officer, you will provide expert guidance, leadership, and line management support within the team, acting as the main escalation point for complex or high-risk leasehold, service charge, property management, and homeowner issues.


Candidate Requirements
*Demonstrable understanding of leasehold and homeownership legislation, service delivery, and customer requirements.
*Experience supervising or leading others, including supporting behaviours, coaching, and contributing to performance management.
*Proven ability to deliver a service that is responsive, empathetic, and focused on achieving the best outcomes for homeowners.
*Understanding of service charge processes, income collection, and resolving payment-related disputes.
*Able to balance competing priorities, manage deadlines, and maintain service quality in a fast-paced environment.
*Confident handling complex or technical queries, interpreting leases, and providing guidance to colleagues.
*Relevant qualification (e.g., CIH Level 4/IRPM/RICS) or willingness to work towards it
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required due to the need for regular travel across the region.


Salary & Package
*£47,328 per annum
*35 hour working week
