This Senior Account Manager opportunity would suit a strong commercial insurance professional who enjoys the client side, knows the market and wants a genuine leadership role.
The opportunity
*You’ll manage a client services team while staying hands-on with renewals, MTAs and new business. It is a broad role with real influence across service, standards and team performance.
What you’ll be doing
*Lead and support a team to deliver against KPIs and service standards
*Manage workloads, absence and day-to-day resource planning
*Oversee renewals, MTAs and new business enquiries
*Prepare insurer submissions and negotiate terms, premium and income
*Review market feedback and present suitable recommendations to clients
*Provide ongoing advice and arrange cover in line with client instructions
*Ensure accurate documentation, strong record keeping and FCA-compliant processes
*Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues
*Support debt management and flag any market or service concerns
Who this could suit
*An experienced Commercial Broker stepping into a bigger leadership role
*A current Senior Account Manager looking for a stronger platform
*Someone who can balance people management with technical broking expertise
*Dip CII or ACII qualified, or working towards it, would be an advantage
