JOB DESCRIPTION
POST TITLE: Lecturer - Plumbing
LOCATION: Buckinghamshire
HOURS: 35 hours per week
CONTRACT: Full Time
SALARY: £37,200 - £41,880 per annum
JOB PURPOSE:
To deliver high-quality teaching in Plumbing, supporting learners to develop the technical skills, knowledge and behaviours required for successful careers in the construction industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Deliver engaging and effective teaching in Plumbing
*Plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons
*Use innovative teaching methods to support student engagement and achievement
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Support students in developing technical and employability skills
*Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
*Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement
*Complete administrative duties to support learner success
*Contribute to curriculum delivery and continuous improvement
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
*Relevant industry experience in Plumbing
*Level 2 minimum qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Passion for teaching and supporting learners
