Job Description:
Owen Reed is looking for a Document Centre Specialist for a top law firm in London.
This is a part-time, 15-month fixed-term contract role, fully remote, with working hours of 09:00–17:00.
Owen Reed is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Document Centre Specialist to join the Document Centre team of a leading law firm. This is a fully remote opportunity offering the chance to develop your professional experience within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
This role is offered on a 15-month fixed-term contract and would suit a skilled document production professional with strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail and a client-focused approach.
The RoleAs a Document Centre Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality document production services, supporting internal clients, and acting as a key interface for Document Centre services.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare documents accurately and efficiently in line with established templates, brand guidelines and production best practices
*Act as a key client interface for Document Centre services
*Deliver high-quality services within deadlines, with a strong focus on responsiveness, client satisfaction and service excellence
*Provide effective client communication and build trusted professional relationships
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and key stakeholders
*Support workflow coverage and assist with the smooth operation of the Document Centre
*Liaise effectively with Document Centre Managers as required
*Support ongoing personal development, including both technical and soft skill growth
*Demonstrate flexibility and contribute to service delivery across changing business needs
*Report directly to the Shift Team Lead
Skills and Experience Required*At least 3 years’ document production experience, ideally within a professional services environment
*Prior legal production experience and workflow management knowledge is advantageous
*Advanced technical knowledge and excellent working knowledge of document production practices and technologies
*Excellent MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
*Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work accurately under pressure
*Ability to work independently, using initiative and sound judgment
*Excellent concentration in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
*Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to consistently producing high-quality work
*Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
*Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
*Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
*Commitment to professionalism, superior customer service and accountability
*Positive approach to feedback, continuous improvement and professional development
*Strong self-motivation with a proactive, can-do attitude
*High level of personal and professional integrity
*In-depth understanding, or willingness to develop knowledge, of firm branding guidelines
*Motivation to continually improve software skills to meet changing client requirements
*Flexible and adaptable approach, including willingness to support overtime or shift changes where required
