IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Goods Out / Production Operative to join a food manufacturing business specialising in dry cured and tank cured bacon and gammon. Supplying wholesalers and butchers across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with full training and long-term prospects.
Key ResponsibilitiesDuring Training (approx. 12 weeks):
*Operate production machinery.
*Pack and label products.
*Follow strict food hygiene regulations.
*Work as part of a team to meet dispatch deadlines.
*Carry out clean-down and hygiene duties.
*Perform quality checks on products.
After Training:
*Load delivery vehicles.
*Complete dispatch documentation.
*Store stock safely and efficiently.
*Move raw materials into production areas.
*Continue quality checks and hygiene duties.
Requirements*Manual handling experience.
*Good understanding of health and safety practices.
*Strong communication skills.
*Hands-on, proactive approach.
*Previous production experience, ideally within food manufacturing.
*Food hygiene awareness.
*RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT licence (refreshed within the last 3 years).
*Previous FLT experience.
