Reed Accountancy is currently assisting a well-established independent accountancy practice in the recruiting of a Semi Senior to join their existing team. This is a varied role ideal for someone who wants to continue building their skills within practice and progress towards full qualification. You’ll work closely with senior team members and partners, gaining exposure to a broad mix of clients and responsibilities.
Key duties will include:
*Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
*Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
*Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping where required
*Liaising directly with clients to gather information and answer queries
*Supporting senior team members on more complex work
*Assisting with ad-hoc tasks and projects across the practice
Requirements:
*Are part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / ATT or equivalent)
*Have experience within an accountancy practice
*Are motivated, reliable, and keen to continue developing their career
*Have good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Are comfortable communicating with clients and working as part of a small team
