An exceptional SEN school in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Science Teacher with a specialist in Physics and Chemistry to join their team from September 2026 on a 1-year long-term placement.

The Role
As a Part-Time Science Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging KS3 & KS4 Science, specialising in Physics and Chemistry
*Adapt and differentiate learning for students with ASD and complex needs
*Work closely with experienced TAs to support engagement and progress
*Deliver practical, accessible and hands-on Science lessons
*Support both academic progress and social-emotional development
*Contribute to a calm, structured and positive learning environment


The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
*Strong subject knowledge in Physics and/or Chemistry
*Experience teaching Science at KS3/KS4 (SEN experience highly desirable)
*A calm, patient and adaptable teaching style
*Confidence supporting learners with ASD and additional needs
*A passion for inclusive education and making Science accessible to all learners
