Job Description:
Quantum Scholars are working closely with a high-achieving and "Outstanding" rated secondary school in Hertfordshire to recruit a passionate Science Teacher on a full-time, permanent basis starting September 2026.

The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:
*Has a strong passion for Science and teaching
*Demonstrates a genuine regard and respect for young people
*Is committed to ongoing professional development
*Brings enthusiasm and energy to the classroom
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*A degree in a Science-related subject
*Strong subject knowledge across Science (specialism welcome)
*Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
*Excellent classroom management skills
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
*MUST have the right to work in the UK - sponsorship is NOT available
Responsibilities*Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Science lessons
*Assess, monitor and report on student progress
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
*Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives
*Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement
