Description
*Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
*Provide insightful variance analysis and commentary to support decision-making.
*Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial targets are met.
*Collaborate with department heads to monitor financial performance and control costs.
*Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
*Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required.
*Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes effectively.
*Assist with ad hoc financial projects and reporting as needed.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*A recognised qualification in accounting, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
*Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
*Proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
*The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
*A track record of delivering accurate financial reports under tight deadlines.
*Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
