Immediate Supply Science Teacher – Ramsgate

We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Science Teacher for an immediate supply role at a specialist SEN secondary setting in Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing, structured environment supporting students with additional learning needs, where strong relationships and adaptive teaching truly matter.
The Role
*Deliver engaging, accessible Science lessons to small classes
*Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
*Support students with Autism (ASC), SEMH and associated needs
*Work closely with experienced SEN staff, TAs and pastoral teams
*Create a calm, predictable classroom environment that helps students thrive
About the Students
*Secondary-aged learners with EHCPs
*Needs may include Autism, social communication difficulties, emotional regulation challenges and anxiety
*Classes are small, with high staff-to-student ratios
*Focus on progress, confidence and independence, not pressure
We’re Looking For:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or strong UK teaching experience
*Experience with SEN, SEMH or ASD (school or alternative provision)
*A patient, consistent and positive approach
*Ability to differentiate and break learning down step-by-step
*Science specialism preferred, but adaptability is key
