CAD Technician
Location: Braintree, Essex

We’re looking for an entry level CAD Technician to join our Asset team, supporting Gas, Fibre, Water, and Electrical infrastructure projects. You’ll play a key role in producing accurate as-laid drawings and maintaining essential network records


The Person
*Producing digital as-laid drawings from site sketches & GPS data
*Using AutoCAD (2D) to create and update technical drawings
*Ensuring drawings are accurate and delivered to deadlines (KPIs/SLA’s)
*Maintaining drawing records and internal databases
*Working closely with technical, operations, and client teams
*Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
*Good IT skills (MS Office)
*AutoCAD preferred but not essential
*Excellent communication and teamworking skills
*Utilities or construction experience (desirable, not essential)
