Job Description:
Qualified SEN Physical Education Teacher – Autism & SEMH
Start: ASAP
Pay: Dependent on experience
We are seeking a qualified SEN PE Teacher to work with Year 7 and 8 pupils in a specialist school supporting Autism and SEMH needs.
The role involves delivering adapted, inclusive PE lessons that support pupils’ physical development, emotional regulation, teamwork, and confidence. The successful candidate will understand how movement and sport can be used as a tool to support wellbeing and behaviour in a low-pressure, supportive environment.
Requirements:
*QTS with specialism or experience in Physical Education
*Experience working with pupils with Autism and/or SEMH
*Ability to adapt PE activities to meet sensory, emotional, and behavioural needs
*Calm, flexible, and positive behaviour management style
