What you’ll be doing:
You’ll take full responsibility for your sea freight export shipments, from quote through to final invoice, making sure everything runs smoothly and profitably. Day-to-day, that means:
*Speaking with customers and providing competitive, accurate quotes
*Booking and coordinating shipments with carriers, hauliers, and overseas agents
*Handling all export documents (Bills of Lading, customs entry, shipping instructions, manifests)
*Tracking shipments and keeping customers updated
*Managing costs, margins, and ensuring each job is completed correctly
*Resolving issues quickly when delays or challenges arise
*Acting as a reliable point of contact for customers
What they’re looking for
*Experience in sea freight exports
*Comfortable managing shipments from start to finish
*Strong knowledge of export documentation
*LCL experience (helpful but not essential)
*Someone organised, proactive, and confident in dealing with customers
*Able to stay calm and solutions-focused when things don’t go to plan
