Job Description:
Accounts Payable / Finance Clerk
Location: Ramsgate (office-based)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Ramsgate to recruit an Accounts Payable / Finance Clerk to join their friendly and supportive Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance experience who is looking to broaden their skill set within a busy, hands-on role. Full training will be provided on all internal systems, and study support is available for the right candidate.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role across Accounts Payable and wider finance operations, with exposure to management accounting processes.
Key responsibilities include:
*End-to-end Accounts Payable processing, including supplier payments and reconciliations
*Bank and cash reconciliations and daily controls
*Processing monthly expenses, accruals and prepayments
*Supporting monthly departmental P&L and spend analysis against budget
*GRNI and intercompany reconciliations
*Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end reporting
*Assisting with Accounts Receivable and credit control when required
*Ad-hoc financial analysis and reconciliation tasks
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
*Experienced in Accounts Payable or a transactional finance role
*Comfortable working with numbers and financial data
*Well organised, with strong attention to detail
*Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
*Keen to learn and develop within finance
*AAT qualified or studying (desirable), but not essential
