Job Description:
Quantum Scholars are working alongside a secondary school in North Hampshire who are seeking to appoint a Science Teacher on a full-time, permanent basis from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school with a strong sense of community and a clear commitment to developing both its teaching staff and overall provision. The Science department is a key part of the school’s continued growth, offering a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a candidate who:
*Has strong UK teaching experience across KS3 and KS4
*Is passionate about teaching Science
*Demonstrates a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*A degree in a Science-related subject
*Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
*Must have a full right to work in the UK - no sponsorship available.
Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*Support students of all abilities to reach their full potential
*Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum
*Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in school initiatives
