SEND Tutor (1:1 & Small Group Support)Location: Stockport
Pay: £30-£35 per hour (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Tutor to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This role involves delivering high-quality support either on a 1:1 basis or within small groups of up to six students, helping learners to build confidence, develop key skills, and reach their full potential.
The RoleAs a SEND Tutor, you will:
*Provide tailored educational support to students with a range of SEND needs
*Deliver engaging, structured sessions aligned with individual learning plans
*Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and abilities
*Support students academically, socially, and emotionally
*Work independently while maintaining clear communication with parents, carers, and professionals where required
Essential Requirements*Proven experience working with children or young people with SEND (essential)
*Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
*Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needs
*Ability to tutor 1:1 and manage small groups (up to 6 students) effectively
*Relevant qualifications or tutoring/teaching experience (desirable)
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
